Prince of Tennis 15 / MAR 15

Monday, November 20, 2006, written by sokmaster at 17:53

This sounds like a good blurb:

[03:05] > omfg
[03:05] > you have to be kidding me
[03:05] > omfg
[03:05] > no hadoukyuu?
[03:05] > shut the fuck up viz and fix that

If you couldn’t tell, the absolute best move has been renamed to something terrible.. Say goodbye to the HADOUKYUU and say hello to THE WAVE SURGE. I shit you not.

MAR is still lame. WTF are those blobs now?

its cause they translated it…hadouken means like wave engergy

so hadou must mean wave and kyuu myst mean surge….hence why its chanaged they just translated it..it means the same thing.

Doesn’t Hadoukyuu sound 100x better than the translated Wave Surge? :(

  3. Tennis says:

No. Hadoukyuu sounds lame. One of my least favorite of the Japanese names. Wave Surge sounds powerful. Wave also makes one think of the ocean, which is cool, powerful, and mysterious.

It’s kind of a mute point when real tennis players don’t give long, silly names to their tennis moves. What is this, tennis bankai?
